National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

The National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching or NBHWC, was founded by leaders from academic and vocational coaching programs. NBHWC aspires to create licensure as a condition for health coaching and their certification as the requirement for licensure. Currently, no governmental agency requires this certification.
IIN graduates who desire to take the NBHWC exam must qualify, and one of the qualifications for IIN graduates is the completion of IIN's Coaching Intensive Practicum (CIP).
