International Association for Health Coaches (IAHC)

WHAT IS THE IAHC?

As a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, you are a member of the International Association for Health Coaches (IAHC). The IAHC is a global organization dedicated to the support, advocacy, and professional development of Health Coaches and their practice. The IAHC offers a certification exam to distinguish those Health Coaches that want to display their coaching expertise. 

The IAHC Certified International Health Coach credential distinguishes Health Coaches who have:  

  • Graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) Health Coach Training Program or a comparable program and

  • Passed the International Health Coach Certification exam.

By meeting these criteria, individuals have demonstrated competency in coaching skills, and ethical and professional coaching standards, and can use the IAHC Certified International Health Coach designation (CIHC).

IAHC EXAM

All graduates of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition are qualified to take this exam because IIN is an IAHC-approved school. Upon graduation, IIN graduates become members of the IAHC.

Non-graduates of IIN are allowed to take the exam, but they require an application process to prove coaching education and experience.

WHAT IS MY TITLE AFTER I COMPLETE THE EXAM?

Coaches who successfully complete this exam, will earn the title Certified International Health Coach (CIHC).
