What should I look for in an Accountability Coach?

Consider your needs to grow your coaching practice. Get specific about your strengths and weaknesses, and consider what an ideal partner would look like for you. What traits in an Accountability Coach do you think you would benefit from? What strengths do you bring to the table? List out your goals, interests, and challenges to identify a good match.

How do I find an Accountability Coach?

Once you have a clear idea of what you are looking for head over to your course Facebook group to start reaching out. First, search for the "Accountability Coach Connection Thread" which will help you connect to others in your area!

Our staff will also start threads specific to finding an Accountability Coach, so keep an eye out for those and you can also comment there. Be sure to read through each others posts and respond to those you think you would work well with.

Does my Accountability Coach have to be someone that lives by me?

No! Don't let geography hinder your ability to find an Accountability Coach. While it is nice to have in person connection, remote buddies allow you to practice your online coaching skills while still providing a solid support system.

Is it required to have an Accountability Coach?

Having an Accountability coach is not required, nor is it a graduation requirement, however, we really encourage all students to participate. It is a great opportunity to practice the 6-month program and hold each other accountable throughout the year. You can help each other create road-maps and celebrate your successes.

Where can I find more information?

You will learn more about finding an Accountability Coach in the curriculum. You can also check out the Accountability Coaching Guidelines in the Documents section of your Canvas Learning Center.
